In recent years, the Firm has also established a general casualty section. This section represents clients in suits involving such diverse areas as industrial casualties, automobile liability, trucking liability, professional liability with an emphasis in medical malpractice, directors and officers and errors and omissions, products liability, public entity liability, education law, civil rights, employment law, as well as workers' compensation, Longshore and Harbor Worker's Compensation, contract and construction litigation. Our clients include some of the largest liability insurers in the United States, as well as major worldwide product manufacturers, governmental and educational entities and self-insureds.
The Firm has also added commercial litigation and commercial transactions to the array of services provided to clients. The attorneys in the commercial practice area represent individuals and businesses in such matters as the formation and counseling of corporations, partnerships and other forms of business entities, contract negotiation and drafting, transactional and regulatory health law, mergers and acquisitions, commercial lending and secured transactions, in addition to handling litigation matters pertaining to all aspects of commercial disputes.
